Custom Routing
The Custom Routing Rules module is used to create and edit custom routing rules. Custom routing rules take precedence over the city-county-state rules and area polygon rules. More detailed information about the available rule formats is described in the Custom Routing Rule section.
Click the Create button to create a new routing rule. Enter data into the fields for the new rule. Click the Save button once all information has been entered.
Fields:
- Rule
- Priority - The priority determines the order in which the rules are applied. Rules with a smaller number for priority are given precedence over rules with larger numbers.
- Area - specifies the area you want the ticket type routed to. If the area you want to use does not exist, you can create an area and assign it to the appropriate user. More information on this can be found here, View/Reassign Area.
- Feed - Specify the feed this rule will apply to.
The Custom Routing Rules screen is shown below:
You can change the columns that are displayed on the Custom Routing Rules pane by configuring the grid.
