Find

Ticket Search Rights

The rights FIND.BY.NUMBER, FIND.MINE, FIND, FIND.DUE.DATE, and FIND.MAP control how a user can search for tickets.

  • If none of these rights are assigned to a user than the Find screen is not available at all.
  • FIND.BY.NUMBER - Allows users to search for tickets only by the full ticket number (no partial matches).
  • FIND.MINE - Allows users to search with all of the search criteria except Due Date. This search is only for open tickets that are assigned to the user or that the user has previously worked and no other user has worked since.
  • FIND.DUE.DATE - Allows users to use the Due Date criteria.
  • FIND Allows the user to search for all tickets with all criteria.

Investigation Search Rights

Users need one of the following rights to be able to search for Investigations (Risks):

  • RISK.VIEW
  • RISK.INVESTIGATE
  • RISK.VIEW.RESTRICTED
  • RISK.VIEW.RESTR.UTIL

Field Audit Search Rights

Users need one of the following rights to be able to search for Field Audits:

  • FIELD.AUDIT.VIEW
  • FIELD.AUDIT.EDIT

  • ATTACHMENT.DOWNLOAD - Download Attachments

  • TICKET.REOPEN - Reopen Closed Tickets. If a user doesn't have this right the list of available status codes will be empty on closed locates. Also this right in combination with the TICKET.ADDLOCATE right allows the user to add locates to closed tickets.

  • TICKET.SIGNATURE - View Signature tab on Ticket Detail screen.

Time Approval

Time Entry


  • ENTER.TIME - Use Time Entry Screen
  • ENTER.TIME.NOT.TODAY - Enter time for days different from the current day.
  • TIME.UNSUB.SUBMIT - Allow the user to unsubmit "submitted" timesheet entries. For example, this is useful for adding additional callout hours that are worked after the day's timesheet has been submitted. Users can unsubmit time on the Time Entry screen.
  • TIME.UNSUB.APPROVE - Allow the user to unsubmit "approved" timesheet entries. Users can unsubmit time on the Time Entry screen.

Any user who has the "WORK" right is defined as a "ticket worker" and is assigned certain rights and abilities automatically. These rights and abilities are as follows:

  • TICKET.VIEW.HISTORY - View Ticket History
  • TICKET.VIEW.NOTES - View Ticket Notes
  • TICKET.VIEW.STATUS - View Ticket Status
  • SYNC - Synchronize Local Changes With Server
  • View My Tickets screen
  • Ability to edit ticket data in Ticket Detail screen

Manager Rights


Any user who has the "MAN" right is defined as a "manager" and is assigned certain rights and abilities automatically. These rights and abilities are as follows:

  • SCREEN - View Screen Screen; Ability to edit locates belonging to other users; All Rights Provided by "WORK" Right
  • SCREEN.BULK - Screen Multiple Tickets at One Time
