Script Plugins
Since each locating company has slightly different needs, TicketRx can be customized to meet your needs. For example, TicketRx can be customized with special due rules and billing rules for your company. The following is an advanced section of the documentation that describes how this customization is performed in TicketRx. In many cases you will not be using this facility directly, but rather you will work with MWM to customize the system. In this case you don't need the information in this section.
The Script Plug-ins screen allows TicketRx to be customized to meet the specific needs of each locating company. Custom scripts are integrated into TicketRx by using a script as a plug-in. The TicketRx system will then run these scripts at the appropriate time for each plug-in.
Scripts are used to customize rules such as ticket due rules and autoclose rules. Contact the TicketRx team regarding writing scripts. Once the scripts are written, users can configure the scripts to be used as Script Plug-ins.
The Script Plug-ins screen is shown below:

Configuring a script to run as a plug-in consists of two main steps:

identify where to plug the script into

identify what script to plug in
Choose where to plug the script into
- Under Script Plug-Ins, highlight the plug-in type.
- Create a plug-in using the Add Plug-in button.
- Search for and select the desired criteria.
- Assign the criteria.
Choose the script
- Highlight the desired plug-in under Script Plug-ins.
- Highlight the desired script under Script Plug-in Detail.
- Save the changes.
