- Value - Use this field to change the value for a configuration parameter.
If the user has rights to edit a parameter then the Value field will be editable. Below the Value field will be a description of what format the value needs to be in. If there are no restrictions, then no format description is displayed. If the value entered does not match the format then an error message will appear when Save is pressed. The new value will not be saved until it matches the format. For example, a numeric field must contain only numbers.
Changing Photo Size Limit
These four system options are used to set the max resolution of photo attachments:
- ticket.attachment.max.width
- ticket.attachment.max.height
- investigation.attachment.max.width
- investigation.attachment.max.height
To change the limit, adjust these four values. Set them to numeric values such as 800 or 1500. For example, to set a max resolution of 1200 x 800 set them in this way:
- ticket.attachment.max.width = 1200
- ticket.attachment.max.height = 800
- investigation.attachment.max.width = 1200
- investigation.attachment.max.height = 800
Once these are changed then users will need to perform a sync on their local computer in order for their system to use the new size limit.
