Introduction To The Dashboard

The Dashboard feature allows managers to look at a point in time in the entire system in order to review it. The Dashboard displays all the categories of tickets, the number of tickets in each, and the total number of tickets. These figures are also represented by a color coded graph on the upper left-hand side. You can also view open emergencies for anyone that reports to you or lower. If you double-click on a ticket, you will be taken to the ticket detail screen where you can view the details for that particular ticket. By clicking on the History/Notes tab, you can view the history of the ticket: when and to whom it was assigned, etc. To return to the Dashboard, simply click the Dashboard icon.

You can also see the last sync that was performed by a user on the bottom left. You can sort by either of the columns. This area will show you the exact date and time that the user performed their last sync. This feature is particularly useful in determining whether or not a ticket was received by a locator.

The Dashboard screen is shown below:

The data displayed can be tailored for each manager. To add a Dashboard pane, click the Add Dashboard button on the bottom left of the window. You will be presented with a list of all dashboard options. Simply click on one of the items and that item will be displayed on the dashboard.

Each Dashboard pane is enabled with a separate right. Users should sync regularly in order to keep the list of available panes up-to-date.

You may arrange your Dashboard data panes within the screen for a custom look and feel. Simply drag and drop an item into the location you want. The rest of the panes within the dashboard will move to accommodate any changes you make.

You can change the columns that are displayed and which columns are used for sorting on individual dashboard panes by using the Configurable Grid.
