Find
The Find feature allows you to search through tickets, investigations and field audits in the system.
The Find screen allows you to search using several different criteria including ticket number, ticket type, due date, work date, city, street, master contractor, and many other criteria. The Find screen also allows searches for partial matches of ticket type, ticket number, street name, city, county, excavator, work done for, ticket text, region, and client claim number. Searches can be performed for tickets that contain or start with certain criteria. For example, searching for a street name of "Meadows" will match all tickets where the street name starts with or contains "Meadows" like Meadows Rd., Country Meadows Lane, Briar Meadows NW, etc.
The search criteria labelled Under is used to search for tickets based on which locator they are assigned to. This will find tickets with locates assigned to a user under the selected user in the hierarchy.
The Status Code criteria searches for tickets with locates that have already been statused. Use the checkbox by each Status Code to select the ones to search for.
The search options available to each user are configured via the User Rights screen.
There are several reports to run from the Find screen.
Below the search results is a map displaying all of the matching items. Each ticket is represented as a pushpin. The pushpins are the color used for due date indication. Click on a pushpin to select its ticket. Double-click a pushpin to open it in the Ticket Detail screen. See Integrated Mapping for more information about mapping in TicketRx.
The user can select which columns are viewed and which columns are used for sorting with the Configurable Grid.
