Integrated Mapping
In various areas of the application TicketRx displays dynamic maps:

The following screens include integrated maps:
Enabling/Disabling Integrated Mapping
The user can switch off integrated maps, when needed. This is useful, for example, when the user is on a slow internet connection, and wants to use TicketRx without downloading maps.
To switch maps off click the File button at the top left hand corner of the screen. Choose the Options choice from the File menu.

This opens the Options box containing the Maps box.

Uncheck the Maps Enabled box and click save button to turn maps off. They can be enabled later by returning to this menu and checking the Maps Enabled box.
Navigating a map
In the lower right corner of the map panel there is a mini-map showing a broader view of the area. The red rectangle displays the area currently visible in the main map. The red rectangle can be moved to change the main map view.

Integrated maps can be zoomed or panned to match your current needs.
In order to change the zoom level of the map, use the slider on the left side of the screen, or scroll mouse wheel while holding the cursor over the map.

Maps are panned by clicking and dragging the main map panel. You can also pan using the red rectangle on the mini-map.
At any time you can use the recenter button
in the upper left corner to zoom and pan the map so that it will display all of the mapped items. So this resets the map to show all of the items.
In the lower left corner there is a scale indicator
displaying an approximate distance ruler.
The total number of Mapped items is displayed directly below the map. This indicates how many items are being mapped.
Map providers
TicketRx can display maps from multiple vendors such as Microsoft Virtual Earth (now Microsoft Bing Maps) and Pushpin.
Map Layers
Some map providers (such as PushPin) include multiple map laters that can be turned on and off at will. To do so click the layer button
in the upper-right corrner of the map. A menu will pop-up, from which you can choose the layers to display.

If you do not see layer button, it means that your current map provider does not support this functionality or you do not have sufficient rights to control the map layers.
