Assign To Me

TicketRx allows you to reassign tickets from someone else to yourself. This feature comes in handy if there was an emergency ticket received overnight that has not yet been assigned to anyone, or if your manager wants you to begin work on a project ticket. You can pull that ticket from whoever is assigned to it and reassign it to yourself. To assign a ticket to yourself, click the Find button and enter the whole ticket number or a portion of it. Also, you can leave the field blank and click the Search button to see a list of all tickets available for you to assign to yourself.

To assign a ticket, simply select the ticket and click the Assign to Me button. You will then need to perform a sync to get that ticket onto your laptop. Once the sync is complete, go to the My Tix screen, and you will see the new ticket in your list of assigned tickets. You will now be able to work that ticket.
