Tickets Waiting Alert
The Tickets Waiting Alert notifies users when new tickets are assigned to them. When users see this alert, they need to sync to retrieve the new tickets.
The Tickets Waiting Alert checks at regular intervals for tickets that have arrived in a user's bucket since their last sync. If new tickets have arrived, the user is notified by the Sync button flashing yellow 3 times and then staying solid yellow. The alert will be reset, and the Sync button color will return to normal after the next sync.
If the Tickets Waiting Alert alert is unable to access the server, an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle is displayed on the Sync button. Even if a previous attempt fails, the Tickets Waiting Alert will continue to try to access the server at regular intervals. Once the Tickets Waiting Alert is able to access the server, the exclamation mark in a yellow triangle is no longer displayed.
To use this feature, the user must have the "AUTO.CHECK.TICKETS" right.
