Approval

The Approval screen allows you to approve or deny a locator's submitted time entries. All time entries submitted by the locators you are in charge of will be listed on the Approval screen.

The Approval screen is shown below:

The time entries are color coded according to the status of the time entry. The legend located to the right of the Save button displays what status is indicated by each color.

Approval screen Approval screen Click the left or right arrow buttons below the Week listing to view data for another week.

Approval screen Refresh the displayed data by pressing refresh button located below the Week listing.

Expand the rows and see more details about a locator's time entry by clicking the blue arrow next to the locator's name. Expand all rows by clicking the Expand All button at the top of the screen.

The condensed view of the user timesheet daily record has the following structure:

  • Checkbox to include/exclude this record from the action
  • Project description or ”'varies”' in case when there was more then one project for this day
  • Total time to approve
  • Short description of the work type
  • Status of the time entry (entered, submitted, approved, denied)
  • Number of notes from the locator

The expanded form of the user timesheet daily record has the following structure:

  • Checkbox to include/exclude this record from the action
  • Detailed description for each project
  • Project work type
  • When the project started and ended as well as total time for the project
  • All project related notes from locator
  • Time zone of the locator
  • Total time for the day
  • Time when date entry was updated by locator

Approval screen

To approve, unapprove, deny or undeny a time entry, click the arrow on the right side of the Review Data button. Then, choose the action you would like to do from the drop-down box. The following choices are available in this drop-down box:

  • Approve Time - Approve any submitted time
  • Unapprove Time - Unapprove any approved time
  • Deny Time - Deny any submitted time
  • Undeny Time - Undeny any denied time

Once you have made a choice, any time entries that the selected action can be applied to are listed with a check box next to it. Click on the check box for each time entry that you want to make the selected action to. Once you are finished selecting time entries, click the Save button at the top of the page.
