Firewall Settings
In order for computers inside your network to access the TicketRx servers, your company firewall settings may need adjustment.
For the TicketRx hosted service, the TicketRx client application will connect to our servers using addresses and ports in this range:
IP Range: 72.29.0.192 - 72.29.0.223
Port Range: 8000 - 9000
These connections are outbound from the client application to our servers only. No inbound connections are used; therefore, there is no need to open any ports for inbound access.
The specific server addresses and ports change over time (within the ranges above), as we upgrade the server cluster used to provide the TicketRx service.
Note also that if TicketRx is configured to send responses to call centers on your behalf, the responses will originate from the IP range above.
Digital Certificate
TicketRx uses the following digital certificate for authentication. This is used to establish secure, authenticated connections between systems. For example, it is used to run the TicketRx client over SSL and for cases where an external responder system requires certificate-based authentication.
