Sequence Numbers

The ticket sequence numbers is available in the Tickets Received Detail report. These are the sequence numbers assigned by the one-call centers. Reporting on sequence numbers is useful in cases where there are questions about what tickets have been received. Normally the Audit Comparison report is used to detect missing tickets, but this report is not useful when investigating a problem that occurs during the day, before the end-of-day audit transmissions are sent by the one-call centers. In cases like this the Tickets Received Detail run for today, with the Sequence Number field included, and sorted by Sequence Number will reveal what sequence numbers have been received.

Not all one-call centers use sequence numbers, so depending on what state you are operating the sequence number field may not be populated.
