Ticket Combining
When the same ticket is received more than once, TicketRx will automatically combine these multiple transmissions into one ticket. This helps to prevent a locator from visiting the same work site twice. This feature helps reduce costs and increase productivity. Other copies of the transmission received and combined can be viewed by clicking the drop-down box, located above the ticket images on the Ticket Detail screen.
If a ticket has been closed, or if the ticket has already been downloaded by a user, additional copies of the transmission will not be combined with the original transmission.
If a ticket is open, and all of the values for the following criteria match, the transmissions will be combined.
- Ticket Number
- Street Name
- City
- State
